Bahamut War I, or "BW1", was the first war that the Bahamuts took part in. It was an hour-long war, taking place hours before Inferno Bahamuts's promotion to a Royal Guard member. After Walli, Billy's former apprentice became intensely enraged from being refused to be accepted into the Bahamut Bloodline, Walli declared a war on the Bahamut family as an act of retribution. After the war, the Bahamuts became victorious, killing a majority of Walli's forces.

After months of training under Billy Bahamut, Walli grew from a Padawan to a Jedi Knight. Soon, Walli grew fatigued by Billy's training, referring to it as mild and unsophisticated. Walli withdrew himself from Billy and began to train himself for one month. Throughout the month, Walli lost his restfulness and tranquility and became more self-centered. He acquired a new ambition to dominate every other living saberist on the galaxy and to rise to world domination.
Dumbfounded by Walli's lightsaber expertise, Billy introduced Walli to Thadeus Bahamut. Thadeus immediately sensed Walli's egotistical conduct and refused to let Walli enlist in the Bahamut Bloodline. Thadeus eventually persuaded Billy to cast aside Walli as his apprentice and to center his attention on training his fellow bloodline members. Infuriated by his rejection, Walli declared war on the Bahamuts, and the Bahamuts, without a doubt, assented to the war.
Walli gathered several Jedi Battlemasters and family members to fight for his side, while only five Bahamuts and an allied gunner fought for the Bahamut side. The Bahamuts wandered in a mighty group, each of them ganging up on one target, slashing one by one.
In the end, the Bahamuts had killed 100 saberists that fought on Walli's side, including Walli himself. Alas, the Bahamut's gunner also met his demise.
